Working on the electrical, first and formost do all the side marker lights (front and rear) flash with the turn indicators, or just the front? My front ones do, rear don't. The wiring diagram I have sort of implies a little different wiring for the front markers from the rear. Here is the backgroung problem. Pass. rear side marker light is out, no power to socket. Have followed the wire to the passenger compartment to no avail. Thinking about spliceing in to another wire in the back. I have checked the socket and the bulb, no power in the wire all the way to the passenger compartment. Any help appreciated.

The front side markers do on my 77 but the rear ones don't. So maybe that is how they are supposed to be.:dontknow:
I'm sure someone will post soon that knows for sure!:cool1:

Ensure you have a good ground on the back marker light. Donno about the flashing, sold my 77, and my 76 is a parts car. Is the hot wire grounding out somewhere? You may try the hot from the ds.

The fronts flash and the rears are just tied in with the taillights. If your taillights are working you have voltage to the rear. I am not sure what wire you are following if that is the case.

Careful with the ground wires out back. The ground for the fuel gauge runs with the rear lighting harness. Mine actually hooks up behind the rear bumper. On my 74 the Front markers flash, rears are tied in with the bumper lights. I haven't really looked in awhile but I think my fronts actually alternate with the front bumper turn signals. :nanawrench:
