You know what I finally put my finger on what I hate most about fords... Well I should say I put my front end on what I hate about them....

Here I was going down the highway going to work when out of the blue a 97 FORD Thunderchicken pulled out in front of me he went flying off the road and I just kinda sat there....sitting sideways in the highway....OH JOY I was a little crossed between shock and exteremly pissed off. The cops wrote him for failure to yield and talked ot me and said it was his fault and his insurance would have to fix my camino. and he said they would try to total it and I was like theres no way in hell your gonna total it they are gonna fix it and the choo choo front end, bastards.....I hate bad drivers....And to think before I left g/f said to have a good day.... funny how S*** turns out.....

Do you notice that most bad drivers always are in Fords? Must be the atmosphere.

Is it bad that I have stitches in my knee, massive abrasions on my hand and other knee, and yet I still worry about my Camino????? I'm still erked about that damn thunderchicken... I just know my baby is in the hands of the best body man in this city. I've seen him restore stuff you would think is impossible to restore....*sigh* watch my luck the rental company with have a vehicle perfect for me to use a...... ranchero.....The best news I forgot to add after the wreck, I wanted to test her she started up again and ran the hoses were rubbing the belts but she ran!!! Theres still hope!

i cant remember if it was a "thunderchicken" or a taurus but someone in one of those F*rd cars almost broadsided me in my elky coming out of an alley way last summer/fall. he took off before i could say anything. which was a smart move on his part. :x

sry to hear about your unfortunate accident. hope you both are back on the road soon. all our elkys must have big hit me signs that only ford and other drivers can see.

Well that just sukkx! Good part is that you have it in the shop and it is being fixed. Not all bad drivers drive fords but they are cheaper than a Chevrolet so I guess if your going to tear up something it might as well be a cheap ride that way you can get another to tear up just as cheap.

On a different note I was talking to some worker friends here today and both of these guys have Japanese brand / type cars and both of them have problems now and have had continuous problems that have cause them to replace the Window motors in them several times. I told them "Should have bought an American Car!" My 93 windows still work, my 98 Lumina's windows still work and my 86 Caviler windows still work. Heck even the el chepo window kits that I put in the 76 still work and I sure didn't think that they would last this long but they're hanging in there.

Just to add fuel to the fire, the power windows & power door locks in my 87 still work great.

I've had idiots in my High School parking lot almost take the nose off my '82 a couple of times.

As for electric windows, my '82 my dad's '79 and his '65 Riviera all have them and they work just fine in a most "Remeber Pearl Harbor - Take That You Rice Grinder" way.

Maybe Foldgers should stick to making coffee cans for the ricers instead of going into window motors...

I was in a parking lot at my apartment complex, and a rock attacked my elky, sure it wasn't moveing and I was backing up, but it shouldn't have been there on the grass in the first place

and as for windows my 86 power windows still work too.
