Anyone around in the St. Louis area?

I just joined and am from Affton. I was looking around at your website and noticed a part of a car I remembered seeing somewhere but couldn't place it. I then looked at some of your photo's and saw the ones of Bill's party. NOW, if you were one of the sick people that was up there sniffing the nitro off of the Henry J then I may stay a member on this site. J/K.

Seeing those pic's of Bill's XXX-mas party brought back some good memories. I've know big Bill, Little Bill, Brian, Bull, Tim, and a lot of others for years. Hopefully I'll get back up to his shop more often on Thursday nights for beers.

The reason I joined this site was I'm working on a customer's 87 El Camino at the house doing things like wiring the engine, gauges, adding door solenoids to pop open the doors and adding mechanical cables to the latches to where if the electrical system fails he can still open the doors.

Anyway, Good to see another member from STL.

I am in University City. I am sorry to say that all of my El Caminos are currently 1:24 scale models. The lack of a real one does not diminish my interest in the El Caminos.

We live in St Peters and on occasion we head over to JJs (http://www.dinejjs.com/) (I sure do miss the Chuck-A-Burger) to look at all the pretty cars and chat with other enthusiasts.
