So ive been searching around, and ive noticed that to get more power i should switch my engine because here i dont hear much about my 4.3 liter v6. im thinking i go the buick turbo route but i dont know where to find one? or do i go up to the 350? or do i stay with my 4.3 liter and if i do that what should i do to it? Im sorry if the questions are a bit noobish but im only 15 so i am really new to working with my camino but i do have some knowledge just not to sure about all of it. haha

Your biggest problem is living in Maricopa County where the state's emission laws are enforced. You'll need to do some research on the states website to see what equipment you'll have to have with an engine swap. I don't have to deal with the emission laws in Mohave County so I cant tell you what all is involved. Maybe some of the locals from your area can shed some light on this subject.

How do your emissions law apply to antique or street rod tags ? Here in Maryland a car can be registered as an antique at 20 years old and a street rod at 25 years old. . . . An antique is "SUPPOSED" to remain completey stock. . . . BUTT it doesn't have to be inspected anymore. . . . As a street rod you can do almost anything. . . I'm getting real duals , sans catalytic converter with glass packs put on my '84 305 SS on Friday. . . . Oh happy days for an old fart who still likes real cars. . . . Welcome to hot rodding Tricycle ! V6's can make for a very quick car. . . Barry-Maryland
