Hello I'm new here i have two elcaminos a 78 & a 81my 81 is an every daydriver black bucket seats black interior fair condition everything has been repainted but nothing is perfect just descent not show quality by any means, no pics online but the paint is beautiful its been primed twice blocked by hand and painted lazer red with ppg clear, and my 79 isnt yet finished but all it need is an interior and i should have it on the road within the next two months.

Anyways I'm here to ask questions and get recomendations and advice, so feel free to mesage me.

Sorry, I don't mean to bust on you right out of the box. But please explain the thought process behind those wheels.

LOL pretty much cause i could, i have camaro mags with wider tires on the back for it, that are painted the same gold as the car but those are for the track the daytons are for the street...:beer: i know i know trust me it reduced my turn radius by about 30 % lol but hey its nothing i cantmake up with a little fishtailing around

I don't understand it. But than I don't have to. I just don't think they look at all good. But I will defend your right to put them on your Elky. :beer:

any opinions on what i should go with? what kind of cam stall converter and rear end? i want to be able to drive in town but be ble to kick some ass with 22 inch wheels lol

Do'nt worry about the Daytons that's why we have the rainbow. When I bought my '80 it also had Daytons, 20" gold plated it looked good but just was'nt my taste, a friend gave me some IROC wheels and I sold the Daytons. Now the car is going through a total makeover I will be posting pictures. I like the way your car looks it shows you are putting a lot of effort into it. I am interested in your pulley system I will be installing an aftermarket A/C system with a sanden compressor and I want to switch my alternator to the driver side. Check out the Florida forum there is a get together at Cocoa in February.
