I know, that is one of the major problems with the site conversion. All members albums are no longer owned by the original member. Has to do with permissions being different between vbulletin and gallery. Since they are two seperate softwares, their passwords are created and stored differently as is user information. Also, they do not share the same database.
The old site software and the old gallery software integrated much better, yet both were outdated, unsupported, slow and a huge security risks.
The new vb and gallery use a single php file to "bridge" the two programs together, not a perfect solution, but better than losing a few thousand member albums. We can re-add users to their perspective albums, but it must be done manually.

I know from reading the posts, that you're working on the issue. The last post says its working again- but I don't see the link to "Add Album". Is it on my end?

Umm... Well I would love to be a help in the gallery-situation, but don't have any pictures that I have rights that I can post there...

I am a silver supporter but the "add album" is not showing up for me.

Not working for me either.

The Gallery is not working for me, either. When I open the site, I get a screen showing a single generation 5 El Camino, with the statement that "this is your gallery"..........Ken:beer:

When trying to access the Gallery it re-directs to Gallery/Testing , then loads the New Posting Page. :dontknow:

Maybe your working on it, all though your not shown to be on Site.

Ok, one more time before I go totally insane.
I had to do a complete reinstall and migration from the old gallery from the old site.
This means that any albums or photos added since the server change over have been lost,
which really is only a few since the gallery has never worked right since.
The old gallery software does not fully integrate, or integrate well with the new forum software.
The gallery/vbulletin integration is more of a "bridge" between the two programs.
Because of this, none of our "permissions" to edit our old albums are intact. meaning we will not be able
to edit or modify any old albums from the old site. The albums are still there, not to worry.
You will, however, be able to create new albums and modify them. If you want to copy your old images in to your
new albums you will be able to do so.

I want ask all supporting members to test the gallery and give me your feedback.

Robert,
I have been successful in adding a sub album to my gallery, so it appears to be working. I have not tried to add a photo to that album, but the Album was created on the last page of the Main Album.
http://elcaminocentral.com/gallery.php?g2_itemId=40069 . I also had to change the Link in my Sig to go to the Album, Needed a new URL.

Hmmm.... for some reason it is rewriting your urls goofy. It should be:

Yeah, That was one of the things I checked, and it sent me to the Main Page of the 4th gens, so I changed it to go to the Album like it use to be. AND it did change, but now is correct again and working.

Well, I created an album and adding those pictures from the shipping company, for now. Just to test. :nanawrench:

Oops, how'd I miss that? I will have to rectify...

It would be nice if there was an option to view more galleries and pics per page. I look in the 5th gen galleries from time to time and it is tedious looking through 62 pages with only 9 cars per page. I'd rather have 30 per page with less than 20 pages to click through. Just a suggestion.
