A complete dash ass'y from 70-72 Chevelle and a 70-72 Monte Carlo as well as the 70-72 El Camino will bolt right in.The late 71&72 dashes will have a seat belt warning light made into it which is located near the lighter. The M/C dashes have a metal woodgrain look insert around the gauges but are a direct bolt in.You can remove this insert but there is about 7-8 holes in behind the panel from where the insert was attached.
I'm assuming you already have a SS style dash ,but if you don't and you have the long speedo style, you will also need the wiring harness for these dash ass'ys. fuse block to the dash.

All 70-72 M/C Dash assemblys Have the round speedometer and gauges [or idiot lights] like the SS EC and the Chevelle, the only difference is the metal woodgrain insert I mention before. Also if you can find a M/C of these years with A/C you will have Most of the parts needed to install in your ride. Many other parts from a 70-72 M/C will fit also, drive train, suspension parts, steering parts and others.

Just found dash from a 70 ss chevelle it has the round tack, speedo, clock w/ small amp, water temp ,fuel. is the oil light in the speedo or tack I dont see the indicator . also wondering if it uses the idiot light sender unit for oil.Iam also lookin for a wire harness if anyones got one in good shape . did anyone use painless kits, m and H (threw year exp one) or anyother good supplyers.I picked up the dash for 75.00 less the pad and harness otherwise good cond.

Got my harness today , for the dash I also went for the engine harness Ifigured why break up the set .It also had the vacume hoses for the ac .The wiring is in nice shape no hardend wires and an extra light for under the dash . Now I just have to find my workbench Gararge still being sheetrocked and organized :(
