On a 72 with a 350 engine, I'd like to use a different engine block tap for the Oil pressure Warning Lite sensor. With the HEI distributor and the Classic Instrument oil gauge sending unit (electronic type) at the rear of the engine, it's a bit cranped back there..any suggestions? Thanx for the help, DCW

I've got a 72 with a 350. I will talk to my father and see how he did the oil pressure gauge and see if that can work for the warning light too

Leave it where it is but use one of these either 90 degree or 45 degree to give you the clearance you need:

There is another tap point just above the oil filter. It probably has a pipe plug in it now. If you are running headers they may interfere with this position. - Jon

He obviously has it hooked up at the distributor & doesn't like it there. I was just trying to let him know that there were other options. - Jon
