I'm considering installing a filter relocation kit and dual circuit cooler in my 80 (305/350) for the tranny fluid and engine oil. Was wondering if anyone has had a problem with either? a buddy of mine said i shouldnt do it because of the extra oil in the lines and cooler that it would put to much strain on the oil pump. Any input would be appreciated.

I am not sure about an oil cooler but i did install a trans cooler & would recommend it. The greatest enemy of the trans is heat.
