while pullin out the motor in my 86 elk i poked a hole in the box under the hood where the heater hose goes how can i fix this

Clean the spot and use Long Hair Fiberglass then paint to match. The glass comes in a container sort of like Bondo and has a hardener like Bondo does. Its a little messy and sanding down the work you'll absoultly need a resperator but it will work and look fine after.

You can also use that stuff for small holes in the floor panels, its strong and doesn't rust.

A resperator is a type of mask you use to keep from breathing stuff you shouldn't breathe. 8-)

You can also use a peice of fiberglass matting that will work really well.
