I thought I would save fellow Europeans from wasting your time.
I have been trying to buy the last parts for my 86 and found two places to buy my stuff.
To make things easy I found a shipping broker in Miami that would ship the part for me, so all the shop had to do was send/ship the parts to Miami.
My first choice was www.dixiemontecarlodepot.com
After a long wait and three email, I got an email telling me that it would cost a fortune to send it to Miami ....and that was the last email.

So in short buy your parts ells were.

...I got an email telling me that it would cost a fortune to send it to Miami ....

What was it you wanted them to send to the broker? What were the shipping terms? No matter want it costs they could send it anyway as long as you're willing to pay for the shipping fees. They ship all over the country, there must be more to this story.

I kind of have to agree with Andreas. I called these guys, ordered parts, was told everything was in stock (live in Tennessee). After 2 weeks of receiving nothing, I called and was told, about 80% of the order was on back order (sounded to me, like "say anything" to get the order).

When I asked when it would be in, I was told, "shortly". After 2 more weeks and nothing arriving, I again called, and was told stuff was still not in stock. When I told them to cancel the order, I was told, NOT POSSIBLE as it had already been entered. I hung up, called American Express, explained the situation, and they refused to pay Dixie. . .of course, then I got a bunch of "we are going to sue/take you to court/bs" and never heard another thing from them.

I've got other friends since, that have had nothing but bad service from them. A friend told me to go to Honest Charley's - which I did, got everything, in stock, shipped in just one day. That is where all my business will go from now on.

I'll start defending Dixie, I ordered my door and quarter window rubber and was very happy with the price/quality and delivery. Decided to use them again for my rocker moulding clips, $15 for the parts $10.95 shipping and handling (south Florida) I declined.
