For the hearty souls, you can save some money if you enjoy camping out. Carlisle has a campground on site. Each space is $25 for the entire event. If you're looking to save on some expenses, this might work for you. I've camped for the last two years and have come to know a couple of the regulars and enjoyed the experience.
A few words of caution for the rookies.
1. No electricity or water is provided at the camp sites, but they do allow small generators.
2. There is only one indoor plumbing and shower facility for men and one for women on the fairgrounds. Each has 3 or four showers.
I'm an early riser so it isn't inconvenient for me.
