My son and father are rebuilding a 81 El Camino. Only thing good on car is bed. They need everything else inside and out. Does anyone know where I can get reasonable priced parts in Alabama. As a single mom I need all the help I can get with reasonable (cheap) parts. Thanks for any help you can give.

Perhaps check local junk yards or pick your own part type places. from the doors up the el camino front end is identical to the Chevy Malibu of the same years, 79-82? something close to that. So don't be fooled by someone telling you it's a El Camino Front Fender, when really it can be used on several different vechiles. just make sure you get the right year & such.

as well some searches on this website are very helpful for specifics, i actually havent made a post yet on my front suspension, all my searches turned up positive and helped a bunch more than i expected lol! Guides help too, they can be found on here.

What parts are you needing first? I am parting out some of the original stuff that I won't use on the 78 I have. I have all of the trim pieces. I have a bad dash but good air vents. A hood latch...umm..let me know what you need I will try and help.

I have two fenders and a header panel with all the parts, everything will match the 81 except the pass. fender, it is from an 85 elky. Hope you can find something, I remember when me and my dad started working on my elky. :beer:

I have 81 hood in great shape, in primer , just needs to be painted. $200.00
I know were there is an elco that has every thing else but the front end.
