i have a 71 elcamino ,front end is 100% new including springs, but when i bounce the front it make a groaning or creaking sound as if my springs are rubbing any insight would be helpful ,thanx

Try this. While setting on the ground loosen the nuts or bolts at the ends of the control arms that retain the shaft to the bushing. Bounce it a couple of times and retighten them.

464Elky is right, you probably have a little bushing wind up. i just replaced my entire front end last summer and got the same sound. i backed everything off, drove it to the grocery store, let it sit all night then re-torqued WITH THE CAR STILL ON THE GROUND - problem solved

Yup. I had the same problem too. It truned out to be the control arm bushings.
