i recently swapped a 350 trans for a 700r4. everything went smooth until i got to hooking up the column shifter linkage. its to short. iwas thinking could someone before me have bent it or something?is it a linkage adapter or something that i need.any help is greatly appreciated,thanks.

if your talking about the rod from the column down to the cross shaft???
see if you have any adjustment left at the column...

or get a old rod and add / weld it to yours,,,5 min job at a welding shop.:texas:
or find one from a truck,,,i think there longer...good luck

thanks jjlt1, itll connect but not long enough to shift out of park.did you have this problem w/ the 4l60?
