I just finished uploading a few pictures of my Sprint. Check them out here. (http://elcaminocentral.com/modules.php?set_albumName=album120&op=modload&name=Gallery&file=index&include=view_album.php)
All of these pictures were taken by the previous owner. I will get some of my own pictures up after I get it back together in a week or so.

Nice ride Charles. I like the color. It goes well with the way the Elky sits. Is that a factory color? Body looks nice and straight.

I noticed something on the motor picture. There looks to be the battery ground cable attached to the alternator bracket. I had a problem on my 3rd gen where the motor would not start, it would just barely turn over and then the battery cable would get real hot. After I installed a new battery and starter, a mechanic friend came by and just took that negative battery cable from the alternator bracket and mounted it to a good clean spot on the engine block and it started right up.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Looks good

Now thats the color a 4th gen should be! Looks great. a72 made a good observation, There should be a thearded hole right above your fuel pump that make an excellent ground. I had to move mine also.

That was a pretty common place for GM to mount the Neg cable in that year range. I bolt mine to the head on that side and I have three straps connecting the top half to the body, the frame to the block and the frame to the body. I also have a strap going from the Neg of the bat to the fender. On the 80 I'll also have ground going to the Gas Tank from the frame. It was there when we too it apart so I'll put it back.

Its a good looking 4th gen you have there.

if that ground comes off the gas gauge reads full all the time... trust me :D

Thanks to everybody for the compliments. I seem to get a lot of them driving this beast around. It is not an original color. It has been painted PPG Emerald Green Pearlcote Metallic. It looks absolutely amazing when it's freshly washed and waxed. And with the battery ground cable, that is one of the things i'm working on moving around now. I'm also making a new alternator bracket support to remove the one there now, which was also designed for the A/C that has been removed. Again, thanks for all the compliments.
