Recaro...is probably the most expensive, that doesn't mean it's the best for YOUR purposes. Your question is too vague. You need to be more specific as to use and price if your looking for suggestions. You could most likely get a set of buckets out of a wreck for under $100 bucks that your butt will enjoy just as much as a set that cost $800 bucks...but the $800 pair will look a whole lot nicer...not that your butt cares!

Maybe you could get some measurements from your bench seat, for width etc and look around in a salvage yard for something you like. You could re-upholster some for the matching color you want. You would need the tracks they are mounted on.

You would need the tracks they are mounted on.Not necessarily...if you currently have a split bench seat the 5th gen tracks are pretty easily adaptable...if you yank a pair of buckets out of a compact car, chances are they'll fit dimensionally. G, F N and J body GM cars are a good bet.

I was thinking about putting swivel buckets in my 86, anyone think that would be easily adaptable for my bench seats ?

I had a guy stop by my shop because he seen my El Camino sitting out front. He had an 83 and he put the heated leather seats and center console out of a GMC Envoy. It looked really nice and seemed to fit perfect.

I put a set of 3rd generation camaro buckets in mine. They fit great but you will have to replace the camaro seat tracks with El Camino seat tracks. Check them out in my link below.
