Hey guys and gals, we are doing a cruise to Ventura Harbor Marina on April 25th for one of our 50th Anniversary Celebration sponsors. So far 32 vehicles will be leaving Bakersfield at 7am sharp and arrive around 8:30-9:00am. There are some coming from as far as San Diego and others from San Jose - all are going to congregate in Ventura. I'm happy o say several NECOA members are already on the list. The local hotel is giving us a discounted rate for those who wish to stay the night and Forever Vinyl band will be performing . It would be an honor if you all would participate on this promotional event. Let me know as soon as you can so I can add your name to the guest list at rlopez@elcaminosclub.com. RRL

The Roxbury Deli & Grill - Port Hueneme, CA (http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-roxbury-deli-and-grill-port-hueneme) While in the area I recommend this place to eat at. Food is very good and it's just a short trip south from ventura off the 101.
I will be makeing the trip up from San Diego. I will be stopping at Port Hueneme first to vist the Navy Seabee base I was stationed at. Then I will head over and join you all. I won't be driving the Camino.

65 ELKY,
Why are you not taking the Camino? I plan on driving mine up there. What time are you leaving?

It take about 2.5-3 hrs. I was planning on leaving about 0700. The seabee museum doesn't open untell 10 and I need to get a pass.
I have some small concerns ps has a small leak. Still have drum brakes and a singles master cylinder. The BIG concern is if I do have problem is tow fee.

Just wanted to drop a line to all who participated in the ECCB’s Cruisin’ to the Harbor event this weekend. It was a great time meeting & talking to all as well as enjoying a perfect day with awesome music. We have signed on an additional 4 members to the club and is going to open a chapter in Ventura County next month. I can’t wait to see everyone at the 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Auto Club Famoso Raceway, Oct 31- Nov 1, 2009. RRL
