The finish on my chrome door handles look terrible. I see is a set of brand new reproduction ones on ebay for only 28 bucks. I was wondering if anyone ever bought them before and if they were any good or if they are a PITA to install???

No clue on there quality, and not difficult to replace.

takes longer to remove door panels than replacing handles.about 5 minutes to replace the handles on my '78.

Quality of e-bay, handles unknown.
As the door panels are off, yes the hardest part to do, go ahead and replace.
As stated, it is a fairly easy switch to do and WELL worth the time and money.
You will be happy with the results!
