hi everyone its been a long time since i posted here because i havn't been able to afford my dream el camino... it gets a little depressing, but in the mean time me anda friend of mine have been working on his monte... its an 84 that originally had a v6 but now has a 350 in it... we have been having a little trouble with our mixture and can't really get the car to stop running rich... we know how to change the idle but we don't know how to change the mixture... if anyone can provide any info it would be greatly appreciated...

we have done alot of work rebuilding the motor because the car was bought at auction after a flood in canton ohio... some info for people who need more to answer the question would go like this... we are pretty sure its a 350 but there is a little confusion and it may be a 305... but anyway we havea 4 barel carb on it and we don't really know where all the vacum hoses go so that might be our problem... we have a preformance aluminum intake on it we got off of an IROC camaro, and it fit perfectly... the heads are also pretty new.. and the valve covers are brand new...

anyway the spark plugs are getting all black and sooty in no time at all... not to mention the old set that was in it had a longer erea efter te threads and the new plugs area little shorter... if anyone can glean any info from this post as to what is going on any info would be greatly appreciated
