Has any one tried the Hayden fan clutch ? what did you think Of the product ?
I beleive I would use the same model, heavy duty thermal, that was in the 350 that Is going in my 85 elky over the one that was OE on the 305 coming out? Or would there be any real difference ? With the heavy duty they offer a 5 yr limited !!! warantee what ever that means. Any help is great, Thanks Pappy!! Ps I know I definitely do need one and, and at this stage in swap, it is time.

I have an account at the shop that has 97 Chevy Vans that operate a large Day Care Center, 37 centers. We always switch out the OEM Clutches for the HD units. Mainly due to the Summer Temps here in Vegas. You will hear the difference in the amount of air flow. They work great and are worth the $$$ if Temps are a CONCERN. (just 02 cents worth)

The Hayden HD clutch is a good choice. I ran one in my 305 w/ ac with a US radiator and never had an overheating problem in SoCal. Until you change over to an electric fan, the Hayden HD is a great move.
