I will try to stop asking stupid Questions . You guys have been great with the answers,I really do appreciate your feed back. This will give you an example, I taped numbers on vac lines and fittings but the ink has faded, water grease so on. I wondered if I am the only bonehead out there that did not take pictures, before I uninstalled, all the vac, lines and fittings ? If so is there any way I can find Pix . pre swap? any help at all thanks Pappy!!

What engine and trans combination are you talking about? I'm in the middle of a V8 swap on a 85 and I did take pictures.

Yes, it was the factory 305 out and the 350 in I have never befor, taken on this size project, so I am learning some things the hard way. I have the motor in , mani on, things are coming together slowly. I know putting all the hoses and such is going to be a real puzzle.

Let me know what puzzle you are trying to solve. I'll share my pics and refer to the shop manual to try to help. The hookup for a 305 and a 350 will be the same.

Any under the Hood photo that might give me a little more direction, would be helpful. I am struggling with vac hoses, I know if I could see it again things would start to click. And as i am writing this ,I am saying why don't you just get out your camera and find someone with my old set up. I guess that's an "aha' moment. If you could send pix that would be great, But if you cant I guess I can go stalk other 305/350 owners and see if they will let me take some pictures Any thing you can do is welcome, Pappy !!
