As of today 4/29 registrations at Carlisle are:

28 El Caminos (nothing registered under GMC Sprint)
17 of these are registered under NECOA

I sure thought we had more 17 members who have claimed to have pre-registered! Maybe we who have registered should check with Carlisle at make sure that we are included under the NECOA club name. There are at least 3 or 4 of us from Texas (Sir Tonk, texaselky, & myself - at least). What has happened to all those El Camino Owners up and down the East Coast, and those who live within 1 day's driving distance? If we can make the trip from Texas, it sure looks like we should get 30 to 50 East Coast owners who can at least show up for Friday & Saturday. We don't have to have show cars to celebrate the 50th!

If you need a place to sleep - you can set up a cot or sleeping bag in my trailer! It should hold at least 8 to 10 folks. (No! I won't let you camp in the room with my wife and I)...........Ken

I'm a bit surprised by the low number of 17 also considering therer are 28 registered. I suspect some people may not have chosen NECOA from the club menu, they simply didn't notice or forgot. This can be corrected at the show if necessary.

hyou should get an email confirmation. When you arrive at Carlisle you simply give your name and they look it up on the computer. Bring the emailed confirmation with you for proof in case they mess up..

The numbers are still lower then I would hope for, but it is getting better.
I say if you know anyone who goes on el camino central try to talk them into going for the show. It will be a blast and I know I am excited for it and it is only April :)

Glad to see you'll be there! As I understand it there will be at least two IROC El Caminos, a couple of 59s, possibly a couple from the GM Museum, and several more. Building T should be well populated by El Caminos.

Oh, and my Elky will be in there also. I originally didn't plan on it but the Carlisle Event Manager wanted my Elky in there... so there it will be.

Actually, my friend and I will need a place to stay on Friday night. We're driving in from Cleveland Friday morning and leaving for NYC Saturday night.
