I don't know if the Chevelle lights will work but you will probably need a special flasher unit that should easily replace the stock one.
As far as upgrading the electrical get a large enough alternator for the added electrical devices. How much larger depends on how much these things require as far as current/amperage. I would also do what some refer to as the big three upgrade. Replace/upgrade the battery negative to body ground connection, upgrade the alternator output to battery positive post cable, and also the cable from the engine block to the battery negative terminal.
If you add an amplifier that needs 150 amps of current and let's say the car uses 30 amps then get a 200 amp alternator. If you run a setup like this but with a 60 amp alternator then 120 amps will be coming from the battery but since a battery is not a power source but a staorage device the 180A of power will be available but eventually the battery will not be able to put out any more and then you are trying to get this big amperage out of an undersized alternator and bad things will happen.

WOW!!!I think I'm going to wire up a couple of them 200 amp alternators in series. My battery will never know what hit it and my sound system will blow your head off.:Eyecrazy: What do you think Larry?

So Debayelco there has been a bit of fun at your expense, but to answer your question, how's your battery? Have you checked the output of your charging system? If you want to add an amp drawing system stereo, let's be sure your system is strong enough to keep the beast running. Check all your grounds, check all your connections, make sure everything is clean and tight. As far as the leds go, check with your supplier as to what is needed. Typically, leds draw fewer amps, but need certain considerations according to manufacturers. There is not a standard yet established, so spend some time speaking with your supplier. A little research at this point will save you a whole lot of heartbreak and dollars... Good luck
