DONE DEAL DONNY

You know you start at 1 end and work your way to the other, then you start at the top and work your way to the bottom (watch what your thinking):poke:anyway along the way you get side tracked.
I've heard a (bump) type noise every sence I've owned my ELKO (about a year and a half) Not everytime I drive it or not always from driving it the same way. Just every once in a while (bump). I don't drive it everyday
So while looking under the back to figure out why my gas gauge didn't work I discovered 1, shock missing bottom bolt, 2, two sets of air shock lines 1 metal, 1 plastic not attached to anything, 3, body mount bushings worn, 4 rear arm bushings to rear end need replaced. And last but not leasted 1 tail pipe with broken spot weld to mount, and the other with missing bolt to mount.
So where is all this going you ask? So do I! What's next? What will I find when I start on the next issue? Probably start with shocks,
I realize a 41 year old car is always a project, but come-on 1 thing at a time please.
I can only fix 1 thing at a time but I always find 3 or more.:bat_angel:
I can say at least nothing too bad (so far):dontknow:

If we could find some way of harnessing the infinite amount of projects that an ElCamino generates, we could cure cancer.

Classic cars...the cure for boredom. You'll never be wanting for something to fix.:nanawrench:

I know I'm never bored. Between three cars, a motorcycle, a big house and my fine art painting, there is always something that needs attention. If my wife sells our business and quits working, that will mean something else that wants attention. On weekends she asks "well what's our plan for today". Get a life lady, I got no plans, I wake up in a new world every morning.

Gotta admit though she brings in the dough and I'm a kept man (house husband). Guess she deserves a little attention, but I hope she finds something to occupy her other than me when she does quit working.

Oh yea I forgot to mention one of my tail light sockets melted. Fixed that today when I got home. I am a factory appliance service tech. I fix things all day long. Then I get home and fix somemore. Count my blessings right? If stuff didn't break I don't think i would have a life!:smileyb:
