Just decided to tackle my electrical problem over the winter.. seems that the entire light system, headlights, interior lights, blinkers, everything flashes while i drive.. Must be a major short somewhere... If someone could tell me where to start looking that would be great.. thanks

Once when I had finished putting the dash back inside the 76 I have I left off a ground and when I turned on the ignition all the lights flashed on and off as if they were getting a ground throgh the blinker circuit. I found the wire pretty easy since I had just went through it. But that sounds like the same problem. I'd say its a bad ground. Mine was a wire that was gounded to the dash support on the driver side.
On my 76 I had to put the truck in 1st position to remove the dash cluster so the key had to be on to move the gear shift. That is when I noticed the problem going back in. Yes I had the battery still hooked up. Probably not the best of ideas but it happens.
Anyway just a thought.
