Does anyone have a clue where I can find a bed cover for a 1971 El Camino?

Gaylord (http://www.gaylordslids.com/classics.asp) has what you're looking for if you want a hard cover...

The one it used to have was a tarp type material and it snaps on. That's basically what I'm trying to replace it with.

Thanks and sorry for not being more specific

In that case you're better off finding a good local uphostery shop that specializes in bed covers rather than getting a replacement off the shelf. You'll get better fit and finish and if you ever have a problem you'll know exactly where to get it fixed...

I had a local trim shop do mine. It cost $200 but it fits like a glove and no bows are needed. I love the look of the soft covers. Some guys put the snaps in the bed mouldings but not me.

You can see it pretty good in the link in my signature.
