Hello! How is everyone today? Fine i hope. I have a quick question for my fellow camino lovers, ( I have found some antifreeze on my manifold,by my valve covers,in those grooves of the manifold. i have no idea where it came from because there is no sign that anything is leaking. i am stummped. i even ran the motor and stood there and watched it for like 45mins, and still no clue, would anybody have any suggestions about this goofy situation that i have. thanks Bill Taylor

My gooseneck(thermostat housing) will leak alittle every now & then. About every third or fourth time I drive it & just enough to tell. It's not bad enough to mess with yet.

If it isn't the thermostat housing, heater hose or upper radiator hose:
Remove, (one at a time) each intake bolt, coat with silicone sealer, and retorque. Sometimes coolant will seep up the threads and onto the manifold.

be careful what type of silocone sealer you use on those threads.. word has it gas eats right through RTV sealer.. all the pros suggest permatex.. not sure how well the stuff comes back out though, ask around

I had a similar problem some time back. Like you, I could not find the leak until I drove the truck out on the interstate for a while (got everything as hot as it was gonna get). Stopped at a gas station, raised the hood and saw steam from an extremely small leak in one of the heater hoses. The dang thing did not leak unless everything got up to temperature.
