Does anyone have any info on where I can find some SS bucket seats for my '84? I have searched the web on various part's sites and have come up empty handed. I'm saving ebay as a last resort.

I have but I have not put much thought into it. Just as long as the seats are kinda low in the back. I have looked at new seats from Sparco and Recaro and just dont like how high the backs of the seats are. Thanks for the sites.

Be ready to stick money into buckets. I got almost $800.00 bucks stuck into parts for mine and thats just springs , cushings, and covers. I haven't taken my seats out yet to get down to the guy thats doing the work for me, so I'll have about $1200-$1300 bucks stuck into them before the works done. I've found it very hard to find anyone who recovers old ones anymore, everyone I contacted says buy the new fiberglass racing seats. No-way. I'll pay the bucks and get mine redone. Sorry i couldn't help out anymore than that. :nanawrench:

i was looking for right era buckets and could not find any i liked at a good price.ended up getting some buckets out of a '96 audi, little bit of fabricating to fit but when done they actually look right, like they belong in my elky.black leather and full power for$160,only 1 blemish where screw from seat frame rubbed
i guess i am just saying broaden your search and get what you like and makes you happy unless yuor building a show car and not a driver.

good luck with your search
