wear can I find the plastic connectors that help hold the grill to the car.I cant even find the name of them.

Do you mean the plastic nuts that press into the body? The replacements I have seen are metal but do the same thing. I found them in an auto parts strore some years ago in the fastener section.

What you need is called an El Camino Header Panel Hardware Kit. It is available from the El Camino Store. It includes all hardware needed to attach the headlight bezels and grill. Be sure to request the discount they give to NECOA members.
