I have limited experience on the above-any suggestions in installing a Cowl Hood-how to make it look like a 1 piece hood, if you get my meaning-i want to try it-but limited on know-how:dontknow:

That would require knowledge in Welding, Sheet Metal fabrication, Body Panel Repair and Painting, if you plan on building it yourself. If you aquire a pre made Hood, it's four bolts to change it out, with some adjusting to line it up is all, then Paint.

Thanks my welding is so-so-body work-getting better-paintiing -no way!!! Yep i made have to bite the bullet and get a pre made hood.....crap to be young again and learn things like the above at a earlier age.............

If you have the time, how about a salvage yard hood to try your idea ?? It doesnt even have to be one for your ride. A mig welder can be used for stitch welding a bit at a time to prevent warping. Nothing like a piece to practice on:smileyb: That kind of thing is like any other craft. You gotta get your feet wet and try it.
