So, my baby lives, for now atleast and I wanted to know if anybody knows of a good mechanic in San Diego, that is hopefully near a trolly stop.

I've been told the head gasket is close to going out, the exhuast manifold on the left side is completely gone, and there's not much holding the front end on anymore..

While I may be willing to do the front end bushings myself, I know I won't be able to do any engine work.

I'm just wondering who you guys trust. I took my car to another shop but I had the feeling I was bein screwed over, and I later found out I had. But thats a story for another day.

Swollin 74 did you find a mechanic in San Diego area? A long block might be an option! That way you just replace the intake and exaust yourself. Plustball the other stuff like water pump, starter. Just thinking.
