The driver's side door handle quit working the other day on my 84 Elky. . . The connecting link/rod came off and was laying in the bottom off the door. . . . What's the "smart fix" Barry-Maryland

Go to the "HELP" parts at the auto parts store and get new clips and re-install it. The clips come in a little bag with 4 or 5 in it.
