I'm in need of a windshild washer pump for my 1966 El Camino. The shop I took it to installed one and then they said that the pump started pumping when the wipers were turned on, so they removed it.
I have looked at the El Camino Store for another pump but I do not have the original to compaire. Which one do I need # 07-0107 Repo model or # 07-0100 washer pump without hidden wipers.:dontknow:
Thanks

If the pump started pumping when the wipers turn on I think you have a mis-wired setup. If the pump pumps liquid I say keep it and figure out the connections.

I have a brand called(Trico super pump) part#11-501 for Gm cars. It looks just like the one on my 68. Brand new (never had the box open) It says (original equipment replacement) I can post pics if you want to see it.

I looked on their web site and it looks like they just make wiper blades now. But they did have this little funny
Did You Know?http://www.tricoproducts.com/common/images/nav_v2/spacer.gif http://www.tricoproducts.com/common/images/nav_v2/grey_dots_line_side.gifhttp://www.tricoproducts.com/common/images/nav_v2/spacer.gif In 1928 Trico developed an early version of a winter blade (called Sleet Wand) which was made of rock salt wrapped in cheesecloth and mounted onto a wiper arm.

Make me an offer or trade. I'm easy! The package is a little rough but it's never been opened, the pump looks like new.

Donny, I was looking for more of the OEM style. Thanks. I did find TRICO on the web, do not offer the part number any more.
Thanks
