I am posting this message for a friend. She has two 5th Gen's for sale. The following is the description she gave me:
These are the basic specs for the El Camino's:

New Tires

New parts partially restored:

Most necessary parts on board
Needs to be wired to be put into working order

1981 El Camino
Color: Tan
Stock 305 '81 Engine
Used as "pattern car"
Can be used for parts
In working order (registered)
Needs work to be driven regularly
Replaced grill, fenders, hood

My husband bought the #1 as a hobby to work on in his "spare time" - he hasn't had any in about 5 years! He bought #2 as a "pattern car" to be sure he got things in the right places. Altogether he's put approximately $4500 into them including the cost of the cars themselves. We certainly wouldn't be looking for that amount but would take the "best offer". One is garaged in Kensington, NH, the other in Plaistow, NH.
