vette_1989 06-09-2009, 06:12 PM I am getting ready to install my 1994 LT1 into my 1981 El Camino. Is there a favorite spark plug brand and heat range that should be installed. Engine has 56,000 miles on it, and I have installed a Comp Cam 07-503-8 new cam and valve train. Engine has full length headers and a 52mm throttle body. JJLT1 06-10-2009, 06:37 PM i have a iron head lti,with hooker supercomp 1 5/8" and i have to use short plugs,(header clearance) i went with the stock a/c delco platnums,,,just fyi...im thinkin you have alum.heads??? you might try doing some reading at LS1 LT1.COM...:texas: Poltergeist 06-11-2009, 12:15 PM I'm using NGK TR55 if I remember right. The were fine when I had my long tubes and work with the stock Impala LT1 manifolds that are on it now. | ||
