Pretty much plug and play, if you need to meet emisions you'll have to reatin all the sensors and wiring, if you're deleating a lot oif the smog stuff it's mostly just cleaning up the wiring in the engine compartment (need a few mote details).

Need more details, but I see your's is an '84. If you are going to meet smog, you don't want to brag to the smog station you did this as a 350 never came in an '84. I'm planning on doing the same with my '80 and am going to try to fly under the radar. Your computer is a little more advanced then mine, but I know I have to do a chip change and carb work. Are you planning any other performance changes at the same time?

Just got the latest issue of Car Craft in the mail yesterday and they have a 305 80's Monte Carlo they are doing a series of articles on. Towards the back under "What's Your Problem" (I think) some asked about the same thing your asking. They lightly covered the carb, but covered the exhaust complete with part #'s. To keep it "smog" legal in Kalifornia you can't go duals. This article covered on how to go bigger single.
