Tuggy24g, you were one of 9 that have responded to PMs and Threads. We have approximately 30-some NECOA members going - and I can't get the other 21 or so to respond whether they want to Dyno test or not! I don't care one way or the other, whether they test or not - I just need to know so that I can schedule a good time for those who DO want to test. See my dilemma? I can't schedule any tests until I know how many to schedule. We have 4 who definitely want a test. I cannot, for the life of me, figure why these people, who are on the Forums most every day, will not respond to personal requests - I use mouthwash, deodorant, and shower at least once a week during the summer (remember I'm from North Arkansas originally). I even wear shoes in public - so, what's the problem?.............Ken

You sent me one even though I've never indicated I was going to Carlisle. In fact, quite the opposite, I'm disabled and have said many times on here how I'd love to go if only I could make the ride. I can't drive 40 miles let alone 400.

Sorry to have inconvenienced you, Mark. I, too, am disabled, and realize what an inconvenience unwanted correspondence can be. I'm not sure where I got your name, but be assured it will be removed from my list.

Ken, while I won't be able to dyno as my Elky will be indoors I didn't get any PM so are you sure you sent them to everyone?

Can you schedule for say 10 cars and push for participants on Friday and Saturday? Then as you get say within a couple of hours to the reserved time adjust the final number.

:dontknow:Ken, i'm not sure i ever got a pm either, but i am going , just not sure about the dyno itself, i just rebuilt the motor, still basicly stock and still breaking it in, never used the dyno before, wouldn't it be mostly beneficial to hi-performance built motors?, pardon my rookieness:blush:

That's probably the best idea, Leo. I'll contact them Monday and schedule for 8 to 10 cars. At least we'll have a known block of time, and can inform the judges of the reason for our cars absence during that time frame.

Pa-elker, my interest in having the cruck dynoed is to quantify the effects of the bolt-ons and bolt-ins. Mine started life as a 325 hp 396. I'm interested in what effect the new internals - cam, roller rockers, head & valving, etc. - have made in combination with the externals - headers, 2 1/2" exhaust with crossover, and magnaflows. I have no interest in racing my cruck - never have, never will. One thing I hope to find out is if the 650 quadrajet is adequate for the motor in its present state of build - some have speculated that it's not. In any event, I'll have a little more information to brag about or to keep quiet about and to change the subject if it comes up. On your other comment - my rookieness shows about every time I open my mouth - er, uh, keyboard............Ken

The NECOA cars are scheduled to begin testing at 8 am on Saturday morning. Dale Homnick of Accelerated Motorsports indicates that it will take approximately 20 minutes per car initially, but that it will get faster as we move through the process. We have 8 - 10 slots set aside for testing, so we have space for 4 to 6 more cars. Please contact me at Carlisle if you wish to test....................Ken

So far, those testing include:

1 Ken Rogers
2 Kirston Otis (Sir Tonk)
3 (texaselky)
4 Paul Ward (p.ward7885)
