:dontknow:Anyone have any experience with these type of plugs? The headers on my 75 just keep fryng my plug wires specially No# 6. it's a 400 just wondered if anyone had insight into these type of plugs-found it hard to located them for my elky.:onfire:

Hey FrankJames, I use the Accel 'shorty' Header plugs myself. Been using them for 4 or 5 years now and seem like a really decent plug. I do install a fresh set every spring. I pick mine up at the local parts jobber, but have seen them in AutoZone. I'm sure your local 'Zone' could get them.

You can also install those 6 inch "Heat Sleeves" over the wire boots if the 'Shorties' are still too close. They work...

Highly RECOMENDED if your running Headers. Most parts supplies have them.
Get a set, you'll :inlove: um.

Ok thanks- i tried to get them on summitt but could never get them for my engine- i will go to the checkers in town see if they can get them-ordered for me-thanks learning as i go-thanks again! yeesh i love this place!!!:nanawrench:

I had to use two of them. The others were clear enough. The headers were so close that a standard plug wouldn't even go in there. First time for me to have to use "shortys"
(cheap ceramic headers)

I have to run them, bought 100 accel shorties on evil bay for $99
