I've received some preliminary numbers from Carlisle. Something is wrong with their count because they show only 55 total El Caminos with 23 being 5th Gen. Those numbers make no sense since I counted at least 65 mid morning Saturday and plenty more came after i counted. They're investigating.

One thing though, even with those numbers they show that 5th Gen Elky's were the 3rd largest class of vehicles for the whole show! Pretty darn good.

Now all we need are the correct numbers.

If it matters, or just for comparison, I did an unofficial nose count about noontime on Saturday.

25 5th gens, 4 4th gens, 15 3rd gens, 2 2nd gens and 4 1st gens (50 total) all in the main Elky area on the showfield. Then there were about 3-4 over in the for-sale area, plus the 4-5 that were in the display building. Even saw 5th gen "Working Elky" in the vendor's area. There was also a 3rd gen plus a 5th gen on stage. If you subtract the working Elky and the Give-away car, that comes to about 59 or 60.

This excludes any that left before I started counting.

Perhaps someone else can offer a more accurate count.
