I've got a 350 block .040 over on the cylinders and crank. What size rods do I need and should I put in flat top or another type piston? How can I tell if it is a 1 or 2 piece seal? Any suggestions on heads that will give me performance and a little mpg? I plan on putting A/C on , should I go with stock manifolds or shorty headers? Sorry for so many questions. If any of you are in VEGAS and want but can't buy CIRQUE DU SOLEIL tickets hit me up,I work for them and all I usually need is a credit card ,name, show, date and time to purchase them for you.
Thx aagain

5.7" rod would be a stock length..
what type piston would depend on your plans for the motor...
(cast,forged,dome,dish,compression,head volume,cam,rod)
everything kinda depends on everything else...
if you want mpg id say run what you have???
this will explain 1 or 2 piece seal..or not...i didnt notice this was a 2 piece seal adapter for a 1 piece seal block at first...

if you dont have seal on the back of your block,,,its a 2 piece seal block,,,and the seal will be in the rear main cap
normally the adapter is for a 1 piece seal,,,and the crank will be round not square on the back end...
look for a book on rebuilding sbc's,,,it will answer a lot of questions...:texas:
