It's a link direct to a PDF on the Carlisle site. Are you able to view PDFs?

I was fortunate to share quintonsdusty's shade for 3 days, sitting just behind his beautiful 67. Person after person commented about the 67, sharing their observations with me, usually in the mistaken belief that the cruck belonged to me. Just off the showroom floor was probably the most common, beautiful was a close tie, perfect in all aspects was also a common observation. In short, the honors Jim received were echoed through the entire show in the attendees' observations. I share my belief that quentinsdusty was probably the best preserved, showroom perfect cruck, or most any car or truck, that I have had the pleasure of reviewing (Jim was also pretty well preserved, but not as well as his cruck)! GREAT CRUCK, Jim!, and the honors very well deserved!.............Ken

Ken, i borrowed some shade from time to time over there too, Jim certainly did deserve his awards, GREAT ride he has there, yours too for that matter, were you the one helping me hold down the canopy when that storm came through, i think Jim was caught in one of the buildings when it hit? who, else was there, i know there were 3 of us and it was all we could do to keep from being a weather balloon for a while there:smileyb:,, Wayne

I was the back corner anchor! The one that got SOAKED when the downburst unloaded the rain stored in the top upon me. Then, after the rain stopped, I sat down into about 2 inches of rain standing in Jim's chair! Rain? What rain?

It was myself, Wayne Miller, & Steve ? holding down the fort while Jim relaxed in the comfort of Building T. But now I'm confused (a common condition for me)! If you're Wayne (Miller?), who is the wayne22fm who commented on the photo of the beautiful color-changing SS in the photos I posted? I've been trying to find a user name, on this forum, associated with Wayne Miller but without luck. I thought I'd broke the key when wayne22fm commented, but now???

Steve ? told me his user name was Mister 67, but I cannot find that name in the forums. I'm really bad with names, so help me out Steve - if you're reading this...........Ken

Wayne, so glad to verify your user name(s)..........Yes, Steve's was the bronze '67 that carried parts and bumpers. It was a sharp cruck, and took a well-deserved 2nd place in the judged competition. I'd like to find out his name and user ID so that I can remain in contact with him also.

I was really proud of the shots I took of your SS. One of them showed bright green in the area right above the grill, and brown or gold on each side of the green area. I'll pick out the best photos and send them to you via a PM.

It was great to meet you and see your beautiful SS. The awards were very well deserved. If you can, I'd like to see a copy or photo of the picture you had made on Sunday.............Ken

Ken,

I am humbled by your kind words. I am very proud of my Elky, but the credit goes to the previous owner, Gene Collins, who purchased her in 1975 and restored her in 1985. For the past 3 years, I've been her caretaker.

Thanks again for the kind words. I couldn't have been more proud.
