Go to "Member Cars" in the upper right of site. Go to the generation you want and add an Album for yourself. If you have trouble uploading the pictures, add the Album (so you own it) and then email the pictures to me and I'll add them for you.

Man, that thing is nice. I noticed that there is no hood ornament hole. Did you smooth it out, or did it come like that?

There is a problem with the area you are trying to get to. But to see the pictures in this thread you would go to the "Memebers Rides". Here is a link directly the album.

Sharp! On your pearl stripes, did you lay down pearl only in a ghost type application or was some pearl added to the same base color to achieve this? We are looking to paint my sons '85 with Monte Black Cherry and I'm trying to convince him to add some Aluminum/White Pearl ghost stripes, especially after seeing yours!

"Black Cherry" Paint Color...

Don't know if you have already bought the paint yet but if your looking for a beautiful "Black Cherry" you have to look at the 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood paint code. I had a '74 Capri I painted Black Cherry and it is the best factory color code Black Cherry I have ever seen. Everyone asked me about that color and if it was custom made. Cadillac only made that color for 1986. Sorry I don't have the paint code number but I guess a body shop can look it up. A must see!

nah we just put the pearl in the clear. now with the black cherry, that is a different story. when you put any color pearl on black it will turn it purple. we did this for my uncle with a truck he had and he wanted it black with a red pearl. when it was done the whole truck was purple.

1985 lists a #99 Black Cherry and a #79 Dark Red Poly, both look might nice. Black Cherry was a Cadillac color, I'd sure like to find one to look at. Do you think the grille being blacked out and all the window trim will still show a bit of difference? We like the look of "Storms"! Of course this dark of color means we need to really work the body straight. This being only our 3rd or 4th paint job?? We are getting there, luckily there wasn't too much body work to do. Tailgate damage, one door and a few other dents! No rust! If we just don't get in a rush to lay the color down!! We should be shooting primer within a week then the jambs, inside fenders and all. We can't wait to see the color!!!

Mine Ran just under $800, W/o the bed done (i opted for him to use bondo to do the job instead of replacing with metal sheets). I put a D-I-Y roll-on bed liner on it. I took some minor sanding and grinding and took every bit of a weekend and $75 but turned out nice :).
