: De Anza Chevrolet Riverside CA
FIRST ELKY 4 ME 07-08-2009, 08:29 AM Hi, not sure if I'm in the right place, I'm looking for information about De Anza Chevrolet, that's where my car was originally purchased. I was hoping to find some dealer info and maybe an old license plate frame or dealer sticker? Thanks
BigAl 327 07-08-2009, 09:15 AM I looked on the internet (googled) it and no joy. De Anza is the city, so will any chevy dealership do?
FIRST ELKY 4 ME 07-08-2009, 02:19 PM Thanks, I couldn't find anything either other than political contributions from the owner.
CoyoteOn2 07-08-2009, 03:48 PM De Anza Chevy was a Dealer in Riverside California in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's.
When they constructed the Riverside Auto Center, in the 60's, De Anza Chevy relocated
from Downtown Riverside to their new location in the Auto Center.
I left California in 91 and they were still going strong.
It appears that in 97, that the Dealer changed to Singh Chevrolet.
It is possible you may contact them, and they may have more information
for you. It just may be possible they may have a few of the Old Frames
laying around. Explain to them what your doing, and they may help.
Sorry I can't be of any more help, but the Information below may help.
After all, What do I Know?

FIRST ELKY 4 ME 07-08-2009, 06:40 PM Thanks very much, Coyote! I'll contact them and let you know how I make out. BTW, I visit your neck of the woods often, the in-laws and other family live out there. Even looked at a few ECs when I was last there. Nice rust free stuff as opposed to what we have here.
Oh, it appears you know alot, thanks again.
CoyoteOn2 11-11-2009, 03:12 AM Hay Gary,
Just curious, you ever obtain any info from the New Owners, or locate the Frame you were looking for ?:dontknow:
FIRST ELKY 4 ME 11-11-2009, 07:27 AM Nah, Singh said they would check their storage areas to see if they had anything. Evidently they didn't come up with anything. Thanks for asking.
cruzn57 01-16-2010, 11:08 AM I've visited Singh chev, few times.... sales office sucks, parts room sucks, service ramp sucks,
so my opinion, go else where.
very few REAL dealers anymore, just money grabbers.
I did buy a new truck from Mark Christopher,( ontario) was plesantly surprised,
CruzerDog 01-16-2010, 01:39 PM I had a De Anza dealer bracket and I sold it last summer at the Goodguys Pleasanton Swap meet
.... (I had restored it and re plated it .. got $120 for it .)
I have seen others but some not in good shape
I have a Harry Mann Chevy Los Angles bracket left .. he was a BiG vette dealer in the 60's
I am going to the Turlock Swap meet Jan 30-31 I'll see what I can find ..
if you still want one
FIRST ELKY 4 ME 01-16-2010, 05:54 PM That would be great, thanks!
