I'm sorry i dont have pictures with me but i'll try and snag a few when i go there next week.
While i was taking a trip round I stopped at one shop that deals in restoring and also selling classic cars. I stopped in and started to take a look around and see what cars they were having for sale and then one car caught my eye...
a 1970 Chevelle SS with a 454 motor "apparently" all that is needed was the passenger seat reupholstered and the paint stripped down to repair a little rust spot at the bottom corner of the rear window, the rust was starting to bubble up through the paint
The guy said that he wants $18k for the car... Now i dont have the money but i wish i did and seriously considering to getting a loan from the bank to snag this car
Should I?

For 18k i would expect no rust. You can always count on there being more than meets the eye. I wouldn't...

18K seems a little high for a car that still needs upholstery and rust repair, especially around the windows. There is a lot of work and money involved for that type of repair. And there's the stuff you can't see. Ka-ching, Ka-ching! Buyer beware!

That does sound like a good idea I'll offer 11k and see what happens. I wonder what his reaction will be, most likely he is just going to stare at me like im an alien or something!

is it a ls5 or a ls6 454? that can effect the cars worth considerably.i dont think that their are that many of the ls6 but if so the car could almost be in pieces and still be worth alot.:dontknow:

Yeah I think he did say it was the LS6 engine then again...I could be wrong and its the LS5, damn my memory, For that price im not too sure but like bobby said is it close enough for you to take a look. Pictures can only say so much until you can physically touch the car
