Installed them, press remote open...works fine, press remote lock...nothing, press open again and the door locks!!!!!
Same thing for lock...press twice to lock and unlock!!!!!!
When I tested them on the bench they worked the way they are suppose to.
Problem surfaced when I attached them to the latch.
The locking motor has about a 1 inch movement from lock to unlock.
The Latch has about a 3/4 incch movement, could this be the problem?:dontknow:

Did you use a linkage coupler to join the rod off of the actuator to a factory rod ?. If so, maybe try minor adjustments with this to where in one position the actuator plunger is fully retracted to lock the door and then when it moves outward 3/4" it unlocks the door. If this doesn't work, try it the other way with it fully extended to unlock the door and then when it retracts 3/4" it locks the door but now the plunger on the actuator is not fully down.
One thing I do when adding actuators in doors is replace the phillips screws with allen headed screws so I can really tighten them down. With the original phillips screws that come with some actuators it seems like I can only get them so tight and not really super tight.

You are right!!!!! With the rod fully adjusted down (locked) and the door latch down, I set the screws.
Now it works. I also took your advise and purchased allen headed screws to replace those little phillips screws that came with the actuators, what a difference, life is good with allen headed screws.
I didn't get the allen screws with heads, I got set screws, they fit really good.
Thanks for your reply, very helpful.
