Does anyone have advice on repairing minor scratches in the glass, in my case the windshield? I was squeegeeing ice off and the metal holder put a scratch about 1/4 across the glass :( , BUMMER
I've seen a product on TV that might help called Liquid Lense (http://www.liquidlense.shoppingcartsplus.com/page/page/843825.htm)

Hi 80 ELC I work at Kohler Co. we have a foundry were they don't keep the stack scrubbers in all the time. Makes a big mess of your paint and glass. We regularly have people go to a local glass company to have their windshelds buffed out. I tried to do it myself with a glass buffer pad and some medium cut paint cleaner. I did a test in the corner of the windsheild and only put some scraches in. It was on my beeter so it didn't make adifferance. Plus I was careful! Good Luck.

Try Eastwood Company, I believe they sell a kit for glass polishing. www.eastwood.com

I have always wondered the same thing. Sometimes a good waxing does help but only for the small stuff.

I bought this thing that fixes some crackes and scratches. One way to use it is to basicly inject the chemical into the crack. For this, you would use the scratch part of it. You put the chemicl over the scratch, put this little sheet it comes with over it, and then wait. It works pretty well, and was about $5. I either got it at Auto Zone, Pep Boys, or a gas station. Comes in a small package with a little white multiple piece injector and those clear sheets. Not to mention the chemical.
