would a rear sway bar help out on making my 1984 el camino ride tighter when im turning?
i am also thinking of lowering it an inch or so for looks and possible handling, lowering center of gravity.
whats everyone done on there ride? tips?

You'll definitely feel the difference with a sway bar. Go for it!

the price difference is about 100$ from 200 to 300.WOW  first off check to see if you have a front sway bar...not all 5th gen EC's have them...second, you don't need a rear sway bar that big. You can go find a rear sway bar at a boneyard off any 78 and up G-body car that has one for about $50 bucks or less and it'll fit just fine and do it's job...or even off Ebay for way less than $300 bucks...just make sure you get the brackets with it. Then you can spend that money you save on something else...like a set of 4 new shocks and a 6 pack of beer for me for saving you money. I bought a 36mm hollow front sway bar off a GTA Trans Am and had it powder coated all for $55 bucks, minus bushings and end links.
