eldinino 08-17-2009, 04:14 AM would a rear sway bar help out on making my 1984 el camino ride tighter when im turning? i am also thinking of lowering it an inch or so for looks and possible handling, lowering center of gravity. whats everyone done on there ride? tips? You can go find a rear sway bar at a boneyard off any 78 and up G-body car that has one for about $50 bucks or less and it'll fit just fine and do it's job...or even off Ebay for way less than $300 bucks...just make sure you get the brackets with it. Then you can spend that money you save on something else...like a set of 4 new shocks and a 6 pack of beer for me for saving you money. I bought a 36mm hollow front sway bar off a GTA Trans Am and had it powder coated all for $55 bucks, minus bushings and end links. | ||
