I have a stock 79 elky that I think it is about time to fix being as it is my daily driver. I have owned it now for 14 yrs. I am told it is one of 1500 that was built with a 267 v-8 with air. Anyway, I am looking to spend about $3000.00 on it this spring, any ideas/ I know I need quarters and lower door skins and a dash cap. I want headers with mellow turbo mufflers. Maybe a complete wrap around ground effects kit? A few suspension mods will be nice also. The frame was repalced from the middle of the doors back a few years ago. Maybe a bigger sway bar, front and back. Any other ideas? Remember, only a little over $3000.00 to spend. Runs great, just broke in, only has 236000.0 miles on it. LOL.
