Personally I WOULDN'T !
To me a waste of Money.
Your looking for POWER ?
Save the Money and upgrade to a V-8
To me headers on a V-6 Turbo would be a plus,
but a waste on a more or less Stock, non Modified Motor.

Say Bro, Why not just ENJOY what you have, as it is.
Worry about that Education, with it you will be able to go fast, because you will make the Money
that will allow you to do that.
I know, you say, that's along time to wait ! Well I'll tell ya, IT AIN"T THAT LONG. When you compare that to how long it will take to earn the GO FAST MONEY, WITHOUT the Education.
I don't want to sound like your Dad, Just your Grand Dad, old enough to be him for sure. You'll be glad you did.
Besides, haven't seen an El Camino that wasn't fun, except the one at the Crusher.

Listen to Coyote... If you want a bit of fun, put a flowmaster muffler on, get a bit of noise, maybe some better flow and enjoy! Whatever you do with a 4.6, you just won't pick up noticeable power, but you can get a nice sound with a muffler change. For now save your bucks, buy a few more beers, study hard and play a bit more when you can....

Well I would say call summit and ask them what would fit. Also I would say do what ever you want to do with your El Camino. I have owned mine since I was was 17 and been upgrading it since I got it. I have put over 9k into it and have no money at all. I am broke as a joke so take it as you may.

Second if your going to school to be a mechanic or taking some machanic classes sometimes they will let you do some of the work in your class. So you will only have to pay for the part and not labor for someone else doing the work for you.

So do what you want, but like I said it is your and we are only here telling you what we think you should do. In the end it comes down to what you really want to do with it.
